Mullakkal Declares: “We Will No Longer Throw Waste”

The fourth phase of the Azhakode Alappuzha sanitation campaign has been launched in Mullakkal Ward, with a strong community resolve to stop indiscriminate waste dumping.

The ward-level Cleanliness Committee meeting held at S.S. Kalamanthir was inaugurated by Health Standing Committee Chairperson Beena Ramesh and presided over by Ward Councillor Sathidevi. Councillor M.R. Prem, Municipal Health Officer Varghese K.P., Senior Clerk Prince, Health Department official Shamsudeen, CANALPY representative Jesna, IRTC representative Nermin, Haritha Karma Sena workers, Kudumbashree members, residence association representatives, and political party representatives also participated.

With collective responsibility and citizen action, Mullakkal Ward is taking steps to become a clean, waste-free community.
