Living Lab team were invited to the workshop organized by Alappuzha Municipality on 12 July 2024 to plan the second phase of Mallinyamuktham Navakeralam 2024-25. This year, the Municipality intends to focus on the pollution of water bodies, appreciating the presence of Vembanad Kayal, canals, rivers, and other smaller water bodies in the Municipality.
The opening session discussed the current ranking of the Municipality in the state and the need for this workshop to come up with strategies that can better the waste management in Alappuzha to plan ahead.
