Haritha Karmasena @ Thumboli

To ensure organic waste collection in Thumboli ward, the Haritha Karmasena team began a household visit campaign as part of the Nirmmal Bhavanam Nirmmal Nagaram 2.0 (NBNN 2.0) – Azhakode Alappuzha Campaign. The initiative aims to guarantee door-to-door collection of inorganic and organic waste in all households.

The campaign was inaugurated by Councillor Kavitha AS and chaired by Dr. Linta.

Around 60 Haritha Karmasena members participated in the household visits in Thumboli ward. JHI Tenshi Sebastian, Jansi, Thumboli church Vicar Father Siju, ADS team members, and coordinators from CanAlapy and IRTCJesna, Vishnu, Sharukh, and Jannath – along with volunteers, actively supported the campaign.

The program was conducted in collaboration with Living Lab Alleppey, promoting community engagement and fostering a sustainable culture of household waste management.
