To strengthen door-to-door collection of non-biodegradable waste in Vadakkal Ward, the Haritha Karma Sena launched a household outreach campaign under the Nirmala Bhavanam Nirmala Nagaram 2.0 (NBNN 2.0) – Azhakode Alappuzha Campaign.
The program was inaugurated by Health Standing Committee Chairperson Beena Ramesh, with Ward Councillor Mary Leena presiding over the function.
Around 40 Haritha Karma Sena members participated in the door-to-door campaign across Vadakkal Ward to ensure proper waste collection from every household.
The event also saw participation from health department officials Sumesh Pavithran, Tenshi Sebastian, Smita Mol, along with representatives from CANALPY, Living Lab, IRTC, and volunteers Jesna, Vishnu, Sharuq, Jannath, and others.
