Living Lab Alleppey team hosted a Capacity Building Workshop at Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT), Pampady, aimed at equipping final-year Civil Engineering students with essential digital and geospatial skills for the survey work in Kumarakom as part of the OLOI Programme. The training focused on empowering students to contribute effectively to field surveys by introducing them to tools like Kobo Toolbox, Google Earth, and ArcGIS. Led by trainer Joseph P Thomas , the sessions provided students with practical knowledge in field data collection, spatial analysis, and GIS applications. Faculty members Dr. Vinish Nair and Sneha S. guided the students, ensuring they gained the necessary skills to undertake real-world engineering challenges.
