As part of the Vembanad Rejuvenation Project of District Collector Alappuzha, a stakeholder meeting was held on May 15th at Thanneermukkom Grama Panchayat, bringing together the Panchayat President, ward members, officials, and local residents to discuss household sanitation and local action. The meeting set the stage for a collaborative and community-driven approach.
🧑🎓 From May 16th to 18th, 30 trained students from Govt. Polytechnic College, Cherthala, conducted a household sanitation survey across the panchayat. Divided into 15 teams of two, they engaged directly with residents, applying their skills in survey methodology and the KoBoCollect app, gathering valuable grassroots data to support sustainable interventions.
