As part of the Nirmmal Bhavanam Nirmmal Nagaram 2.0 (NBNN 2.0) – Azhakode Alappuzha Campaign, awareness classes on waste management were conducted for students at St. Thomas High School, Thumboli Ward. The sessions focused on proper use of Bio-bins, aerobic units, and the role of Haritha Karmasena, empowering students to take the knowledge home and educate their families.
The program was attended by Councillor Dr. Linta, Education Standing Committee Chairperson R. Vineeth, JHI Jansi, ADS Chairperson Ani, CanAlapy coordinators, and Principal Manuel Jose, among others.
These sessions were organized in collaboration with Living Lab Alleppey, fostering community engagement and promoting sustainable household waste practices through the younger generation.
