Alappuzha Prepares to Become a Fully Clean Constituency

The Alappuzha – Fully Clean Constituency project has officially begun, aiming to make all local self-governed institutions, households, and establishments in the Alappuzha assembly constituency completely waste-free.

The workshop held at Aryad Community Hall was inaugurated by Fisheries and Cultural Minister Saji Cheriyan. District Panchayat President K.G. Rajeshwari presided over the session, while Alappuzha MLA P.P. Chitharanjan delivered the welcome address.

Can Alappuzha Coordinator Rohith Joseph presented the project overview. Additional insights on waste management were provided by Nava Kerala Mission Co-coordinator Rajesh and Alappuzha Municipality Health Officer K.P. Varghese.

This initiative is being implemented with the support of Living Lab Alleppey, ensuring sustainable, community-driven waste management practices.
