A walk along the length of the AS Canal within Cherthala Municipality limits was organized by the Cherthala Municipality, with participation from Minister P Prasad and other key figures. The walk aimed to spread awareness about the rejuvenation of the canal, which once connected Alappuzha and Cherthala.
The Municipality is also calling for community participation in an upcoming mass cleaning to remove litter along the canal.
Such walks are vital for gathering public support, raising awareness about the condition of our water bodies, and recognizing their importance.
