As part of the Nirmala Bhavanam Nirmala Nagaram 2.0 campaign, the District Court Ward is gearing up to actively contribute to Alappuzha’s cleanliness drive.
To coordinate activities under the campaign, a Ward Organizing Committee meeting was held, inaugurated by Health Standing Committee Chairperson Beena Ramesh. The session was presided over by Ward Councillor R. Vineetha.
The meeting saw the participation of Councillor M.R. Prem, Municipal Health Department official Girish Ananthan, CanALPY and living lab volunteers Jesna and Jagannath, members of the Haritha Karma Sena, Kudumbashree, ASHA workers, representatives of residents’ associations, and political party members.
With the united efforts of the ward community and the municipality, District Court Ward is set to become a model for Alappuzha’s waste-free future.
